Week 5 – Wrap-Up and ‘Honors’

TVC CENTRAL – In probably the highlight game of the week, Shepherd topped Carrollton and now have more wins, 3, than they have had in each of the past 6 seasons with 4 games still to play.  In a game that was sure to feature explosive offense, the Bluejays did what was expected and stopped the Cavs just enough to get the win.  Freeland stayed undefeated with their 13 point win over Standish-Sterling, probably a lot closer than some would have expected.  Alma bounced back from last week’s 6 point loss to Freeland and took care of Bullock Creek with a shutout to remain a game behind Freeland.  And rounding out the slate, Swan Valley, whom some may have forgotten about after their 2nd loss, still sit just a game behind Freeland in the standings as well and will square off with the Falcons in 2 weeks.
